But just what the fuck does that mean? Right wingnuts would have us believe that there was a time in American History when things were ideal from their point of view. I’d really love to know at just what point in our history that time was. 

Was it colonial times, when there was no religious freedom and you had to belong to the right SECT of Christianity? When they burned witches (well really just people they accused of being witches)

Was it before women’s suffrage when women were supposed to stay home, barefoot, pregnant and silent?

Was it when Catholics and Jews were persecuted (this up through the late 50’s early 60’s) for not being Christian/Protestant enough? Was it when anyone who wasn’t a Christian wasn’t to be considered a citizen?

Was it pre-civil rights movement when whole classes of people in America were oppressed, repressed, jailed, enslaved, and discounted for not being the right race? Was it during the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s 50’s and 60’s when it was commonplace for blacks to be strung up in a tree just for being in the wrong white place at the wrong white time?

It sounds like she wants a return to a time when White Anglo-Saxon Protestants dictated what America was - a bigoted, racist, misogynic, sexist, religiously intolerant, militarily dominant world superpower that promoted two things - religion and white run businesses. 

Well I say fuck you AND your backwards, retarded ideas, Sarah Palin and right-wingnut teabagger fucks. If you think this country needs to swing to the right extreme of the social pendulum yet again then THINK AGAIN - we don’t need your extremist, fascist, bigoted totalitarian world any more than we need complete anarchy.
